Kantele, who lost to John Henderson at the World Championship, won the opening event. The Finn defeated Darius Labanauskas and Dennis Nilsson in the quarter-finals and semi-finals. He won a last-leg decider to defeat Magnus Caris 6-5 in the final. He will feature in the first European Tour event in Leverkusen. Razma will take part in the second event in Munich. The Latvian thrashed Larsson and Labanauskas, and then defeated Johan Engström 6-3 in the final.
Larsson recovered from his semi-final exit to claim a spot in the third European Tour event in Saarbrücken. Victories over Oskar Lukasiak and the ever-present Labanauskas set up a final against Kim Viljanen. Viljanen won the first Nordic and Baltic Pro Tour event of the year, but could not hold off Larsson. The Swede took a 6-4 victory.
