Challenge Tour Order of Merit after first four events

Simon Preston tops the first Challenge Tour Order of Merit of the year.

The Cheshire ace won the first Challenge Tour event on Saturday, before a quarter-final exit on the same day. He pockets £2,400. Closely behind him is Brazilian ace Diogo Portela, the other Saturday winner. Sunday's victorious pair of Martin Atkins and Jason Cullen also feature in the top five. Michael Barnard is sandwiched between the four event winners. The mailman from Romford lost to Portela in the final of the second event.
The top two players at the end of the year will receive a Tour Card. Additionally, the top 32 are able to compete in the first four UK-based European Tour qualifiers. That includes ties, so the likes of Mark Walsh and Rusty-Jake Rodriguez are eligible. Should Tour Card holders pull out of Pro Tour events, the top players in the Challenge Tour Order of Merit will replace them.
