Evans and Edhouse to face of in first confirmed semi-final at Dutch Darts Championship

The first semi-final is confirmed at the Dutch Darts Championship with two unseeded players making maiden European Tour semi-finals.
These two players are Ricky Evans and Ritchie Edhouse. Evans has been one of the stars of this weekend and saw off Joe Cullen in a deciding leg.
Cullen missed three match darts against the Kettering ace but he thrilled the crowd in making it through.
They all did the Baby Shark afterwards, a video of his walk on has gone viral this weekend and is seemingly a good luck charm.
Edhouse missed seven match darts in seeing off Kyle Anderson. ‘Madhouse’ has similarly had a ground breaking run but is even more surprising than Evans. He has a big opportunity and will hope to continue it against ‘Rapid’.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
