The final session of action is coming up shortly at the Gibraltar Darts Trophy with eight names vying for the title.
First of all, Nathan Aspinall will take on Peter Wright. Both players who impressed in the afternoon session especially in the case of ‘The Asp’ who stunned Michael Van Gerwen
for the first time in the big stage and showed why he is known as one of the best rising stars in darts.
Then it is James Wade against Dave Chisnall. ‘The Machine’
saw off Kim Huybrechts in a brilliant victory which ended ‘The Hurricane’s chances of making it to the European Championship.
Chisnall in the offer hand eased past Jermaine Wattimena in an impressive win from the St Helens ace who seems to be almost used to his new darts by now.
It is then the turn of Ian White and Krzysztof Ratajski. White
edged past practice partner Michael Smith who had completed his mission of making it to the European Championship. Ratajski saw off Joe Cullen but will have to tidy up his doubles.
Finally a potentially fiery clash awaits with Gerwyn Price facing Daryl Gurney. Both had contrasting routes through with Price having to edge past Cross after the latter produced brilliance to get back in terms. Gurney on the other hand
demolished Glen Durrant in an impressive display.
Overall we are set for a brilliant conclusion to proceedings in Gibraltar. Who will be the King of the Rock?
