Trina Gulliver signs new deal to take Winmau partnership into third decade

Trina Gulliver has signed a new deal which extends her long-running partnership with Winmau.

The Golden Girl is an icon in women's darts, and one of the most successful people in the sport's history. Gulliver has won 10 world titles. That includes a record seven in a row from 2001-2007. The 48-year-old was awarded an MBE in 2013 for her contribution to darts. Winmau have been a consistent presence in the Somerset-based thrower's professional life. The partnership will run into a third decade due to the contract extension. The 2018 Lakeside semi-finalist will continue representing the manufacturer at tournaments and events.
“Darts has been great to me. By working with Winmau, my relationship and involvement in the sport has been so much more interesting and worthwhile," said Gulliver.
"I have a great relationship with my ‘Winmau family’. I look forward to the future knowing they will continue to be by my side.”
The renewal was welcomed warmly by Winmau Sales and Marketing Director Ian Flack. “Trina is quite simply a legend in the sport,” Flack said. “She’s achieved everything there is to achieve and done more than anyone else to put the women’s game where it is today.
“In the 20 years we’ve worked with Trina I have come to know her as the consummate professional as well as a friend. She’s a credit to our brand and we have benefitted enormously from her insight and experience when it comes to product development. I am delighted we are able to enter our third decade together.”
