As soon as he got ahead 3-2 he smashed in five straight legs to wrestle the tie away and give Dobey too high of a mountain to climb. At that point he had a 104 average and this continued with his consistency not dropping at all throughout the rest of the contest.
He smashed in a 103 average in the end and it ended up being a 10-2 smashing over Chris Dobey and after not playing well earlier this weekend, ‘Superchin’ has announced his arrival in Minehead.
The former World Grand Prix Champion was formidable on the doubles hitting ten out of 16 in the end. This included finishes of 146 and 170 as he blew the Bedlington ace away.
