The action continues is Graz with John Henderson, Stephen Bunting and Tytus Kanik all through to the second day at the Austrian Darts Open.

Henderson battled past Ross Smith in a pretty poor game by both players standards. This was due to them missing a combined 31 darts at doubles. Despite that though, Hendo had to get over the line and he did so in a 6-4 victory. Bunting had a tough test himself against youngster Patrick van den Boogaard, the Dutchman is a regular fixture on the Development Tour but was making his debut on the European Tour. Despite going down 6-4, it was a good showing from him as he made the former Lakeside World Champion work for his victory. Kanik who himself has been going under the radar as of late and playing himself into some form saw off the first host nation qualifier in Dietmar Burger in a 6-2 win. This was also the first win in over a year on the European Tour for ‘Tito’. Conan Whitehead (89.86) 4-6 (96.59) Keegan Brown Boris Koltsov (91.37) 6-5 (80.68) Johan Engstrøm Jamie Bain (79.17) 1-6 (88.53) Steve Lennon Dietmar Burger (83.19) 2-6 (90.41) Tytus Kanik Stephen Bunting (87.20) 6-4 (85.05) Patrick van den Boogaard Ross Smith (73.53) 4-6 (81.56) John Henderson Darius Labanauskas v Michael Rasztovits Mark Webster v Dirk van Duijvenbode
