Lowe receives his MBE for services to darts and charity

John Lowe was at Buckingham Palace on Thursday to receive his MBE for services to darts and charity.

He was pictured with Prince William, Duke of Cambridge receiving his award.
The three-time World Champion joins a small list of darts players to be honoured including the late, great Eric Bristow and Trina Gulliver.
He is also well known for hitting the first televised nine darter; ‘Old Stoneface’ hit the perfect leg during the 1984 MFI World Matchplay against Keith Deller.
