'He's going to be a superstar' - MVG on Rob Cross

Michael Van Gerwen (MVG) capped off another brilliant weekend on his return to the tour after a month off by winning back to back Euro Tours. The current World Champion took in wins against Richard North, Gerwyn Price, Jelle Klaasen, Simon Whitlock and finally rising star Rob Cross in the final and the World Number one praised the two time ranking event winner and a man who beat him at the European Darts Open this year after the match by hinting that he will be up there. "It was difficult to break Rob's throw but I think I deserved to win that game. Winning tournaments is my biggest hobby" said in his post match interview "I want to give Rob all the credit, we're going to have a lot more great games and he's going to be a superstar."
