Michael van Gerwen has once again won on the Euro Tour and it is a back to back success for the World Number One after his win over Steve Beaton in Maastricht last weekend. This weekend he defeated the man who defeated him a few months back on the Euro Tour at the European Darts Open.
It wasn't as cut and dry as his victory over Beaton last week or any of his other victories this weekend, Cross lead 3-2 but as usual van Gerwen saved his best to last to power past Cross winning 6-3 in the end winning 4 consecutive legs.
It was a 5th Euro Tour title of the year and he had a 111 average, four 180's and 60% on the doubles to boot and is surely the favourite to win the Champions League in Cardiff next week.
