Andy Boulton came up with the goods to knock out World Grand Prix Champion Daryl Gurney who couldn't handle X-Factor with the English born, Scottish based player smashing in a 103 average to down 'Superchin' and after the win, Boulton spoke to Elmar about his performance and Daryl.
"That was my best performance ever on the stage," said Boulton, after ending the hopes of the number five seed.
"Daryl is such a good player and will be on a high after winning the World Grand Prix so I'm really pleased. I haven't always turned up on the
European Tour and if you don't play your best you go home. I hope I can repeat it on Sunday."
Boulton will take on Vincent van der Voort in the last 16 after the Dutchman defeated number 12 seed Ian White in a last-leg decider with a big opportunity for either player as there has been no major seed casualties so far in Gottingen.
