Horvat and Joyce win after comeback, Wattimena delights home crowd

Jermaine Wattimena has won his first round match at the Dutch Darts Masters. The Dutchman booked victory in front of his home crowd, as he defeated Adam Huckvale 6-3. Wattimena faces Joe Cullen in the second round on Saturday afternoon.

Michael Rosenauer had a comfortable start of the game, leading 5-1 after six legs. However, Ryan Joyce, who played his first Euro Tour-event, fought back and completed an amazing comeback after suviving three matchdarts from Michael Rosenauer. Joyce made no mistake and won the game 6-5.
Dragutin Horvat had to go all the way in his match against Toni Alcinas. In a levelled-game and a 5-5 score, an 11th leg had to decide the winner. After Alcinas missed three matchdarts, Horvat hit double 12 to claim victory. James Richardson came back from 0-2 down against Jason Cullen. 'Ruthless' beat the Irishman by a 6-4 scoreline.
