Hughes was very impressive with a 98 average as he claimed the last four legs in a row to claim victory. ‘Yozza’ has been in superb form as of late and will be a force to be reckoned with this weekend.
Brown put in a good performance also in edging pasts Madars Razma, an in form opponent. He did it in style as well smashing in a 116 checkout in the deciding leg for the win.
Siepmann is the second host nation qualifier through to the next round and after impressing previously on the Euro Tour, he has done so again. This was with a 90 average and two ton plus checkouts along the way with a win over Mickey Mansell.
