Humphries and Aspinall continue impressive form as third round edges towards conclusion in Minehead

Humphries breezed past Vincent van der Voort in a 6-1 win with an average just shy of 100 and continued on from his Premier League exploits.
‘Cool Hand Luke’ could be a player to seriously watch depending on his draw in the next round this weekend.
Aspinall similarly looked good as he came through with a 6-3 win against Toni Alcinas. ‘The Asp’ showed in this case his World Championship form was no fluke averaging around the 108 mark for most of it.
This included a nine-darter attempt where he left 150 but lost concentration for a perfect leg. He ended up soaking up some late pressure but he ended up winning with a 98 average and a 110 checkout.
There was also wins for the likes of Steve Lennon, Ryan Joyce and Jeffrey de Zwaan who continue to impress. Also there was a shock victory for Luke Woodhouse against Premier League contender Chris Dobey.
