Luke Humphries has continued his ground breaking PDC World Darts Championship run by dumping out an outsider for the title in Dimitri van den Bergh.

Humphries didn’t play as well as earlier in the tournament in terms of scoring with two 180’s and an 89 average but it was still enough to gain a 4-1 win over Van den Bergh.
Van den Bergh looked to be heading back into the match at 2-0 down with him claiming a set but this was soon dispelled by the Newbury ace who only allowed him one more leg in the match.
He will face an even tougher test in Round Four with Rob Cross the next assignment. On paper it looks to be a brilliant tie and one that if Luke wins will blow the tournament even further open.
