Petersen sees off West to reach career best of Last 16 at PDC World Darts Championship

Devon Petersen has done it! He has reached the last 16 of the PDC World Darts Championship for the second time in his career after defeating Steve West 4-2.

Petersen who has shown finally how he can really play in this tournament was tied at 2-2 with West but streaked ahead to claim a big win.
In terms of statistics it was a 92 average with six 180’s and a high checkout of 139 for the African Warrior.
As well as equaling a career best run in the tournament, he will also be a Tour Card holder for another one year producing a brilliant run when it truly matters.
