Justin Pipe defeats Dave Chisnall and Simon Stevenson claims first TV win

Justin Pipe defied the odds to defeat Dave Chisnall in a deciding leg. The Taunton ace despite Chizzy playing well broke the throw in a decider to sail through into Round 2 in a thrilling contest on the opening night in Glasgow. He will face Peter 'Snakebite' Wright next.
Also through is Simon Stevenson, 'The Mirror Man' who is known as a brilliant floor player but never has had a TV win up till now but he defeated Jan Dekker who has been in pretty good form as of late and was even 5-1 up at one point before a late rally from Dekker but Stevenson held his nerve to get through to play James Wade.

- This coming from the lowest ranked player in it who was only selected by his paranoia for attention from the crowd by having to conduct the crowd to his walk on music. I know a lot of darts fans who cannot stand Arsepinall, oddly I know people who don't like darts but frequently attend events for the atmosphere and have no idea who was playing.
