44th Winmau World Masters
The Last 16 has been confirmed for the Winmau World Masters with these matches taking place on the stage, after qualifiers tried their hand including Ted Hankey and Dawson Murschell, the last 32 comprised of the qualifiers vs the seeded players with spots potentially up for grabs as a result from the very start.
The likes of Nick Kenny, Dean Reynolds, Jamie Hughes, Scott Waites, Wesley Harms and Darryl Fitton all fell to qualifiers and 'Silverback' Tony O'Shea got through qualifying and defeated Scott Mitchell to reach the last 16 stage. The only real stand out seeds to get through was the winner yesterday in Ross Montgomery, Glen Durrant & Cameron Menzies.
The stand out ties of the Last 16 include Montgomery vs Hurrell and Krzysztof Ratajski the star of the Euro Tour this year reaching this stage against another unseeded player with a real chance of winning the Winmau World Masters with lots of seeds already out.
