Ronny Huybrechts did good with achieving the last sixteen at the International Darts Open. The Belgian earned 3,000 pounds for the Euro Tour ranking and thus a debut on home soil at the
European Championship is virtually safe.
'The Rebel' participated in the European Championship in 2013 and 2014, but since the event was moved to Belgium in 2015, Huybrechts did not qualify. The oldest of the Huybrechts brothers realised after an interview with Love The Darts, which has brought him a good result close to the European Championship which he can achieve in Gottingen next time out.
"It was for me really important to win this match because it's the last time the European Championship is in Belgium," Ronny Huybrechts told the Love The Darts.
"It's my fifth year in the
PDC, and I qualified the two years in Germany, but never in Belgium."
