Adrian Lewis has hit a nine darter in Barnsley in a win over Daryl Gurney at Players Championship 16 to reach the Quarter-Finals of the event.
This win as well as being the first in the Players Championship series this year has had far reaching effects for Lewis.
He has now gone back up to number fifteen in the world with that win and as a result Kim Huybrechts just needs to win one game in Hamburg to overtake Alan Norris for the final World Matchplay spot on the PDC Order of Merit.
