Lewis on Van Gerwen clash in Last 16: ‘Michael looked vulnerable in his last match‘

Adrian Lewis saw off Darius Labanauskas despite having man flu and as a result has set up a bumper clash with Michael van Gerwen in the Last 16.
Lewis admitted that as a result of his illness he wanted to win quickly which he did and he said he’s really looking forward to facing Van Gerwen. "I wanted to win quickly because I haven't felt great since the last match," said Lewis, who remains in the hunt for a third World Championship title. "I've been tucked up in bed for a couple days watching the darts and I'm going to rest up and get ready for the game against Michael. - Is this the start of an attempt to say that he (Littler) is the best ever as he has won most money. Perhaps adjust all prize money earned by allowing for inflation. If Littler gets close too (does not even have to overtake) both MVG’s and Taylor’s Major titles total then he is in the conversation.
