Adrian Lewis saw off Darius Labanauskas despite having man flu and as a result has set up a bumper clash with Michael van Gerwen in the Last 16.

Lewis admitted that as a result of his illness he wanted to win quickly which he did and he said he’s really looking forward to facing Van Gerwen. "I wanted to win quickly because I haven't felt great since the last match," said Lewis, who remains in the hunt for a third World Championship title. "I've been tucked up in bed for a couple days watching the darts and I'm going to rest up and get ready for the game against Michael. "I think that Michael looked vulnerable in his last match and I'm really looking forward to playing him." for more information about the PDC World Darts Championship, including schedules and the prize fund breakdown.
