Lorraine Winstanley canters through at Lakeside

Third seed Lorraine Winstanley is into the quarter finals of the ladies draw at Lakeside. Winstanley, the reigning Winmau World Masters champion, cruised to the opening set 3-1 against Tricia Wright. A comfortable three from nine on doubles seeing the first set taken against Wrights throw.

57 year old Wright, has been an England international before, but couldn't find the game to match Winstanley on her debut at Lakeside. The Surrey county darts player succumbing to Winstanley's game as she also took the second set.
Winstanley wrapped the match up with 3 straight legs in the second set, joining the other top names in the last 8. Anastasia Dobromyslova awaits from Lorraine in the quarter finals. The pair will meet thursday.
