Martin Atkins from Wigan, not to be confused with the Atkins who is known as 'The Assasin', has won the third Challenge Tour event of the weekend. Atkins beat Michael Barnard in the final to seal his maiden PDC title.

Atkins beat the likes of David Pallett, Colin Osborne and Jason Lowe en route to the final. Barnard ended a good run from Tony O'Shea, who reached the semi finals after defeating Diogo Portela and Andy Jenkins earlier on the day.
