Max Hopp is inviting fans to attend an exhibition packed with PDC stars - and with one unusual twist.
The Maximiser is on the bill for the SAP Frankfurt Darts Slam, taking place at The Palmengarten on September 18. The Frankurt-based exhibition is completely free to attend. The limited number of attendees who claim a ticket will be able to bring a guest. The main attraction is PDC world champion Rob Cross.
Also joining Hopp and Cross is five-time world champion Raymond van Barneveld. Barney's last trip to Frankfurt ended in triumph as he and Michael van Gerwen sealed another World Cup of Darts title. Austria's number one, Mensur Suljovic, also had success in Germany recently. The German Darts Masters champion will be among a star-studded line-up.
Michael Smith and Simon Whitlock will also be in attendance at The Palmengarten. So too will two of the biggest names in women's darts, Deta Hedman and Aileen de Graaf.
PDC referee Russ Bray will MC the event, while commentator and former World Championship semi-finalist Wayne Mardle will take on fans on stage.
Hopp tweeted to promote the September showdown. Germany's number one said: "A great evening of darts awaits you!! Frankfurt is calling."
