McGeeney edges out Hamilton, Ashton defeats De Graaf after thriller

Mark McGeeney booked a place for the final day of the Finder Darts Masters after edging out Andy Hamilton after an exciting match.

Hamilton came back from a 4-1 deficit, but McGeeney used the advantage of starting the leg-decider and took the win. Conan Whitehead, Scott Mitchell, Derk Telnekes and Jim Williams also managed to win their second match in the group stage. Lisa Ashton reached the final in the ladies tournament after coming through a thriller against Aileen de Graaf. 'The Lancashire Rose' hit a stunning 157 checkout when she was 1-3 down. She leveled the match in the sixth leg, before Ashton threw a 96 finish in the decider.
