Winstanley saw off Trina Gulliver two-nil in sets to set up a potential clash once again with close friend Anastasia Dobromyslova in the semi-finals. She hit a brilliant 124 checkout en route and despite not being at her best, neither was Trina and getting through clashes like this could stand her in good stead in her World title challenge. McKinstry had less of a smooth route through but got through nonetheless against Cameron. He came through a seven set thriller and had to survive three match darts. The Northern Irishman dug out his best game at the right time though with a final set average of 102. He now goes through to the Quarter-Finals as a potential dark horse in this year’s competition. for more information about the 2019
