Leighton Bennett claimed the BDO World Youth title on Thursday evening after defeating Nathan Girvan in the final,
Bennett spoke afterwards to the Weekly Dartscast afterwards and called it a massive dream come true. “It’s absolutely awesome,” Bennett said. “Just winning this, it’s a massive dream come true. “When it went in (the bullseye) all the emotions just fell straight away and I just had to celebrate that victory, because it’s a world title. “It’s my dream to do this and I was just thinking about it all last night, just play your game and enjoy it.” for more information about the 2019 BDO Lakeside World Championship.
