Mensur Suljovic capped off a brilliant month by claiming his first ProTour title after wins previously in the International Darts Open in Riesa last year and the Champions League of Darts this month, his first TV title.
After playing brilliantly yesterday but just missing out, 'The Gentle' made no mistake by taking out a resurgent Stephen Bunting who defeated new tour card holder Madars Razma to get to the final in the best run to date for the Latvian former BDO player and Suljovic spoke about his form as well as hinting that it could all still go wrong at the World Grand Prix despite the brilliant form he has displayed.
"I feel brilliant," said Suljovic, who takes on Ian White in the first of the Unibet World Grand Prix, which begins on Sunday.
"I felt like I played better darts yesterday but I am very happy with how everything is going at the moment. I'm playing well but tomorrow is a different day and a different tournament."
