Mensur Suljovic continued his run of exceptional form by winning Players Championship 20 in Dublin.
The Austrian prepared perfectly for this weeks Grand Prix by picking up his maiden
Pro Tour title, defeating
Stephen Bunting 6-4.
Suljovic conquered Ted Evetts 6-0 to start the day, also beating Richie Corner 6-2 and Justin Pipe 6-5 to win his board.
Alan Norris was next for Mensur, he won that one 6-1 before beating Michael van Gerwen in the quarters 6-3.
A 6-4 win over James Wilson secured his spot in the final and he took that opportunity with both hands.
The Gentle will hope to carry his form into the Grand Prix at the City West for the next week. The notorious double 14 hitter may just well go all the way again this time next week.
