Noppert confirms move to PDC: 'Going to Q-School next week'

Danny Noppert was eliminated by Mark McGeeney in the second round of Lakeside on Wednesday. However, he can't grieve for long about it, as the Dutchman announced he will move to the PDC.

The 2017 Lakeside finalist confirmed on Facebook that he will participate at the Q-School next week. This is a four-day event where players can earn Tour Cards for the PDC circuit. ''Do not worry. I'm going to play at Q-School for the PDC next week. Go for it'', the statement from Noppert said.
Noppert has some PDC experience in his bag already, as he played in the Grand Slam of Darts twice. 'Noppie' reached the last 16 in 2016, and last year he came two legs to short to get through the group stage.
