Danny Noppert threw a nine-dart during a competition round of the Frisian Darts League on Tuesday-evening. The former Lakeside finalist threw the perfect leg in a traditional way via twice 180 and a 141 finish on double 12.
This performance was unique for the Frisian Darts League, because in the 30-year anniversary of this league there was not a nine-darter thrown. For Noppert, however, it was not a new experience. ‘Noppie’ hit a perfect leg during the 4 Nations Tournament in 2016 and an NDB ranking event in 2012.
The Dutchman has had a good start to the season as a new PDC tour card holder; he will be hoping to take that form into this weekend in Barnsley.
