Alan Norris took out some top notch finishes as he swept past Kim Viljanen 3-0 in the first round of the 2018
PDC World Darts Championship.
Viljanen got off to a poor start. Norris took full advantage by winning the opening three legs to take the first set.
The Finn found his range in set two, taking the first two legs in just 25 darts total. ‘Chuck’ was able to level the set, however, after hitting bull to convert an 81-finish. Viljanen then missed six darts for the set, allowing Norris to double his lead: 2-0.
A Tops-Tops 80-checkout and a 120-finish helped the Englishman go within a leg of the match, which he won by taking out 85 on Tops as well.
The world-number-eighteen nog faces either Kim Huybrechts or James Richardson in round two.
