Kyle Anderson was made to work by Peter Jacques, but in the end got the better of the Englishman at the 2018
PDC World Darts Championship.
The first set went to ‘The Original’, who took out finishes of 109 and 70 to claim the early lead as both men held 100% finishing scores.
Set two saw Jacques take a two-nil advantage, but missed set darts were punished by Anderson who went within a set of the match.
‘The Terrier’ did not make the same mistake twice as he took out 55 to win set three. It would prove to be the last leg he won, however, as the Australian converted Tops to seal his spot in round two where he could face Raymond van Barneveld.
