World Youth Championship finalist Josh Payne has qualified for the last 16 of the PDPA World Championship with a 5-3 victory over Kurt Parry.
Brendan Dolan, who narrowly missed out on an Ally Pally place via the Order of Merit and Pro Tour rankings, also continued his hopes of reaching the big stage after winning a deciding leg against Martin Lukeman. He will meet Alan Tabern, who beat Wayne Jones 5-4 in Milton Keynes.
But Paul Nicholson is out, as 'the Asset' was beaten 5-3 by Jamie Lewis.
