PDC 2017 season stats so far released with game average at 93.23

The PDC Season 2017 stats have been revealed including averages, legs played and checkout percentages. As an whole for stage darts, the average currently stands at 93.23 which despite being down from previous years shows the upturn in standard over the past few years with more players keeping up with the big guns such as Michael van Gerwen and Phil Taylor with a new breed of darting talent coming through such as Rob Cross and Daryl Gurney who are taking it to these players.
Overall 375,935 darts have been thrown on stage this year with 12,677 legs being completed. In these legs 6,279 180's have been thrown with a checkout percentage of 37.7%.
