BetVictor have been announced as the new title sponsors for the World Cup of Darts, it has been revealed by the PDC on Tuesday.
The company have been associated with the PDC for some time; with a similar deal in place for the Masters. Barry Hearn spoke after the announcement about the event growing in stature; also as a result how its fantastic that BetVictor are involved.
“It’s fantastic to welcome BetVictor as our new title sponsors for the World Cup of Darts,” said PDC Chairman Barry Hearn.
“This event has grown in stature every year since being introduced in 2010 and provides a unique experience for darting enthusiasts, as players throw aside personal rivalries to team up for their country.
“The mixture of Doubles and Singles matches across the weekend also makes for a thrilling tournament, and it should be a brilliant four days in June.”

He had a lucky run at Blackpool and even luckier at the World Championship and is still living off that. - I'm a big Huybretchs fan from when he broke through at the euros in the early days, but his action has gone. So jerky and inconsistent.
