PDC extend Minehead deal until 2020

The PDC have announced they have extended the deal with Butlins Minehead to host the Players Championship Finals and televised UK Open stages.

The Somerset holiday destination has hosted the Players Championship Finals since 2012, and UK Open Finals since it left Bolton in 2014. The signing of the deal confirms both events will be held there until at least 2020.
The venue has become extremely popular with fans. Onsite accommodation packages and multiple rooms for stages ensure that both events are busy from start to finish on their respectaive weekends in the calendar.
PDC chairman Barry Hearn said the following to PDC.tv "The UK Open and Players Championship Finals have been outstanding successes since moving to the Butlin's Minehead Resort and it's fantastic news that we've extended our partnership with Butlins for a further three years."
Peter Wright heads to Minehead as defending champion for the 2018 UK Open, should he get through the floor qualifying events in the next two weeks. The televised finals will take place from 2nd-4th March.
