There are a few new names in the PDC Order of Merit's top 128.
Thanks to a number of PDC World Championship spots - and earnings - being secured, qualifiers have joined the Order of Merit. Among them are Chuck Puleo and Jim Long from North America, as well as Lourence Ilagan and Royden Lam from Asia. Provisional qualifiers Noel Malicdem and Paul Lim are also on the list. Rowby-John Rodriguez's chances of earning a Tour Card also received a major boost as a result of qualifying for Ally Pally; he sits in 68th.
Michael van Gerwen, meanwhile, extends his lead at the top of the PDC rankings. He sits well ahead of vanquished Grand Prix final opponent Peter Wright.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
