Phil Taylor has kept his World Championship dreams alive after defeating Gary Anderson by 5 sets to 3 in the last Quarter-Final before tomorrow's 2 deciding semi-finals.
'The Power' hit a 102 average, twelve 180's and 50% on the doubles as he shut the lights out on 'The Flying Scotsman''s charge to the World title. Anderson was not completely on form which showed as despite him pulling it back towards the end, his back injury did show in spells in the match and as a result it didn't go as far as potentially it usually would.
Taylor will play first tomorrow against Jamie Lewis to potentially book a final appearance against Michael van Gerwen where he will be hoping to walk off with a 17th title into the sunset to finish his career.
