Players Championship 6 results, last 16: Cross squeezes through against Payne

Cross though came through a tight clash with Josh Payne, the Gravesend native who is a previous ranking title winner pushed the World Champion but will be ruing missed opportunities and as a result Cross remains involved at Players Championship 6.
Stephen Bunting is one of the players left in and he will face Dave Chisnall in a St Helens derby. Bunting, Chisnall, Cross or Wilson will be in the final.
From the bottom half of the draw, it will be Mervyn King, Dimitri van den Bergh, Ian White or John Henderson. Henderson in particular could finally win a first ranking title but will have a tough test in Ian White who smashed James Wade.
