Players Championship 6 will see a new 2018 Pro Tour winner as earlier Gary Anderson & Michael Smith went out and now Michael van Gerwen has lost for the first time in this series this year. He lost out 6-4 to Jermaine Wattimena in the Last 32.

Van Gerwen had previously only lost to Michael Smith, Jeffrey de Zwaan and Peter Wright this year but Wattimena who's performances on the Pro Tour have threatened this has ended 'Mighty Mike's Players Championship Streak.
Rob Cross remains the highest ranked player left in today and will now be favourite for the title. He though only just scraped through against Mickey Mansell 6-5.
Other big names through include Dave Chisnall, Jelle Klaasen, Mervyn King and James Wade all of which have not been in the best form but have been finding it again as of late.
Ryan Joyce continues his brilliant start to his PDC career by knocking out Robert Thornton 6-1 and Josh Payne has continued a great day by knocking out yesterday's finalist Chris Dobey 6-2.
