Price averages 104 in seeing off Ratajski and Stevenson reaches maiden PDC major quarter-final with win over Chisnall

Gerwyn Price is through to the Quarter-Final at the UK Open with victory over Krzysztof Ratajski.

Price averaged 104 in a match where there was no love lost between the pair. Ratajski seemed to breach the exclusion zone during the match and this created needle between the pair. 'The Iceman' averaged over 104 on his way to a 10-3 victory and hit 55% on the doubles. Also through is Simon Stevenson, who edged past Dave Chisnall in a 10-9 victory. He battled back from 7-3 down to reach his maiden major Quarter-Final. ‘The Mirror Man’ had missed one dart at the bull to claim the win but finally got over the line. So far on his way to this stage he has defeated the likes of Raymond van Barneveld, Kim Huybrechts and Mark Webster and his run now continues. for more information about the UK Open including the schedule, prize fund breakdown, TV coverage and format.
