Michael Smith has continued his run at the UK Open in Minehead despite injury with victory over Jermaine Wattimena.

He smashed Wattimena with a 10-3 victory to show his true class. ‘Bully Boy’ averaged 101 on his way to the win as well as hitting 55% on his doubles along the way. Beaton has also continued his run edging out Dimitri van den Bergh as he continues to roll back the years. He has reached the Quarter-Finals for the first time in a decade in seeing off the Belgian.
