In this session only 2 seeded players went through but this number has already gone up by one but for all but one player it was a difficult route through.
Price ended up seeing off birthday boy John Henderson who couldn't harness that to claim the victory as 'The Iceman' claimed a 6-3 average. The doubling statistics were the difference with Price claiming 6/7 on the doubles in a polished performance.
Cross had it more tougher with the former World Champion surviving three match darts in a decider against Jeffrey de Zwaan who has been in excellent form.
'Voltage' would have been expecting a tough contest so will be relieved to claim the victory.
Finally Wright didn't have it easy either with him snapping up a narrow 6-5 win against Chris Dobey in a deciding leg. 'Snakebite' had to hit a 104 checkout to claim the win and considering his recent form it will be a win he will be relieved to get.
