The World Cup of Darts goes to Frankfurt and we will see a completely new partnership for the first time since 2010 with no Adrian Lewis or Phil Taylor.

Rob Cross is now the leading light in terms of English Darts and will make his debut in the World Cup of Darts, but the identity of his partner is still to be decided.
Dave Chisnall out of the 3 players remaining seems to be the most likely with the World Number 7 in pole position to make it 2 consecutive years at the tournament.
He has enjoyed a good start to the Pro Tour season and after being part of the team with Lewis who reached last year’s semi finals he will be aiming to win it this year if included.
Michael Smith though is hot on his heels. The World Number 9 has shown some real quality so far this year including reaching the Premier League playoffs.
He will probably need a really good weekend this time out in Zwolle to gain inclusion. This could be hard though with the St Helens ace struggling with illness.
James Wade who has been in supreme form this year is the other name who could be in line but his early exit in Zwolle yesterday may have ended his hopes.
The darting worlds attention will be firmly on these 3 though as they aim to partner Cross in Frankfurt.
