The latest European Tour event in Maastricht has thrown up some new names in the race to the World Championship at the end of the year.

Ritchie Edhouse, Darren Johnson and Jeffrey de Graaf in particular have all enjoyed good runs as of late. This has brought them into the top 32 for the Pro Tour Order of Merit meaning a World Championship spot could be on the cards.
In terms of retaining Tour Cards, this is huge news for the trio and a good run at the Alexandra Palace could mean Q-School will not be in their plans.
Justin Pipe is in danger though of falling out of contention for the event. This is due to him likely exiting the World’s top 32. His Pro Tour ranking isn’t enough to get him in either so the Alexandra Palace might not feel the force.
