Race to World Grand Prix: Henderson secures spot, Chisnall guarantees seeding

The World Grand Prix is the next major on the PDC Calendar taking place at the back end of this month with only one event to go before the cut off.

In the race to the World Grand Prix, John Henderson has guaranteed himself a spot being number nine on the Pro Tour ranking. Currently Steve Lennon, Ricky Evans, Steve Beaton, Josh Payne, Jeffrey de Zwaan; as well as Ron Meulenkamp and Keegan Brown sit in the qualification spots.
Only Lennon, Beaton and potentially De Zwaan and Meulenkamp can still influence their position. Kyle Anderson seems most likely to secure his spot of those outside the top 16. He is in good form and will be involved in Riesa. Further down Robert Thornton has to reach a semi-final and Ryan Joyce a final to change proceedings.
In terms of seedings, Dave Chisnall secured at least 8th seed, this is due mainly to Michael Smith and James Wade withdrawing from Riesa.
