Rafferty claims second PDC Development Tour title

The opening day on the PDC Development Tour 2019 concluded, as Nathan Rafferty became the second winner of the day. The Northern Irishman defeated Aiden Cope 5-2 in the final.

Rafferty enjoyed wins over Eloise Mulburn, Adam Howard, William Borland, Andy Kent, Bradley Brooks, Jeffrey de Zwaan and Wessel Nijman on his way to the final, while Cope whitewashed Luke Humphries in the quarter-finals.
Wigan hosts the first of five weekends to be held in this year’s PDC Development Tour, which will each feature four £10,000 tournaments for players aged 16-23. The likes of Jeffrey de Zwaan, Ted Evetts, Luke Humphries, Bradley Brooks, Mike de Decker and Dawson Murschell entered these events.
