Red Dragon Darts Signs Richard North On Three-Year Deal

Red Dragon Darts has announced that it has signed Hampshire’s Richard North on a three- year sponsorship deal.
The company said that 27 year-old full time darts player, North, who competes on the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tour, will contribute to product development and is currently working on the design of a set of custom made signature darts to his exact specification.
Having won a number of regional titles mainly in the south of England, including the Andover Classic and Harlow, Bristol and Hayling Island opens, North’s biggest achievement to date has been to earn his PDC Pro Tour card and qualify for the World Grand Prix at his first attempt, beating Mark Webster in the first round but losing out to the inform Simon Whitlock.
Now, with the support of Red Dragon Darts, his focus is to break into the PDC Order of Merit top 50 in which he is currently ranked 66th.
“Red Dragon Darts is the biggest name in Pro-Tour darts and it means everything to me to be associated with the company,” says North. “I am playing really well at the moment and hope that with Red Dragon Darts’ support I’ll be able to take my game to the next major TV level.”
Simon Hall, head of marketing at Red Dragon Darts, added: “Richard is really making a name for himself on the circuit made clear by his qualification for the Grand Prix this year. He works so hard at his game and I am delighted we will be working with him to help build upon his huge talent.”
