Wright, a winner on the Players Championship series this year averaged 81 in losing 6-2 to Robert Marijanovic. One player who has looked good though is Michael Smith who came through a thriller with Ross Smith 6-5. Rob Cross and Daryl Gurney are still involved with Cross once again coming through a last leg decider beating Josh Payne from 4-2 down and Gurney whitewashing Richard North.
